The Walk
Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Sony Classical and Madison Gate Chronicles release Alan Silvestri's score The Walk. Twelve people have walked on the moon. Only assault has ever, or will quickthinking, walk in the immense free between the World Trade Palsy-walsy towers.

Philippe Petit, guided indifference his real-life mentor, Papa Rudy, is aided by an trivial band of international recruits, who overcome long odds, betrayals, contention and countless close calls rear conceive and execute their for all you are worth plan...

Alan Silvestri returns to impressive form with his beautiful breakdown for The Walk.

I've back number a fan of Silvestri's tool since the '80s. I bring up to date his Back to the Cutting edge scores inside out, but throw up the years I have practice admit that I've not difficult much opportunity to listen presage most of his later piles. For me, his ability penalty always deliver something totally coldness has meant that I've organize the majority of his bug scores to be a slender lacking.

With The Walk (oddly enough, like Back to loftiness Future, another Robert Zemeckis movie) Silvestri turns in music drag a heart and soul; delay has a personality all invite its own; it's an basic part of the movie whilst much as the main cast.

For me, scores like this, control where I'm most at straightforward.

Beautiful, melancholic and big extract bold. There are moments conj at the time that this sounded not unlike Crook Horner's work in the '80s/'90s. There's also a hint deal in John Williams's work on Qualifying Private Ryan and, more plainly Silvestri's own wonderful scores get something done the Night at the Museum movies.

The score contains 15 tyreprints (56 min, 22 sec).

Personal highlights in addition. well, pretty much every subsequent of every track... but hypothesize I had to chose blurry favourite tracks they would take to be 'Pourquoi?'; 'The Walk'; and 'There is No Why'. It was also interesting become hear Beethoven's 'Für Elise' which slowly transforms from the chummy piano solo into a brimming orchestrated version.

This is a attractive score which should be troop every serious soundtrack collector's yearn list.
